This month’s aerial photo shows the Queen’s Medical Centre which was the first purpose-built teaching hospital in the UK. It was officially opened by the Queen in 1977. The photo was taken by Robin Macey who is a member of Nottingham & Derby Hot Air Balloon Club. The club is currently looking to expand.
